Shoreditch Town Hall is a dynamic destination space and creative hub in East London. Located in the heart of one of London's most vibrant creative districts, minutes from the Olympic Park and a short walk from the City of London, the venue comprises a range of spaces from the grandeur of the beautiful Victorian Assembly Hall to a warren of atmospheric basement rooms. Capacities range from 800 - 12, and there are plenty of options in terms of running different spaces in conjunction with one another.
Over the past ten years the Town Hall has built a reputation as a distinctive event and hires venue, successfully hosting major fundraisers, corporate events, weddings, film and photo-shoots and internationally acclaimed art exhibitions.
2012 will see the venue entering an exciting phase. At the same time as improving facilities for hires and events, a new high quality artistic and live performance programme will be introduced, taking full advantage of the character and potential of the venue and featuring an important strand of site-specific work . A number of currently unused areas will be brought back into use as development spaces and offices, and a new restaurant and bar will establish a vibrant heart to the building.
